Life is better over the rainbow
In our over 25 years of operation, we have found that children learn through a variety of methods, and they are learning all the time.  We also understand that each child is a unique individual who learns at his own pace and in his own way.   Therefore, we have developed curriculum rich with opportunities.   Opportunities to explore the environment and to grow.   Our teachers prepare a lesson plan each week that addresses the development of the whole child.   The lesson plans include a blueprint for engaging the children in academics (letters, numbers, colors and shapes), mathematics, science, motor skills, literacy and social studies.  We offer circle time and lesson time each day that encompasses all of these areas of development.   Of course, all along the way we do love to have FUN!! We provide progress reports throughout the year, with a formal written report distributed to all parents in January and June.   During these times, we also schedule optional parent/teacher conferences so that you may address all of your child’s needs on an individual basis. When you visit our facility, our teachers can show you examples of the weekly lesson plan as well as of the children’s work and examples progress, the monthly calendar, and insight into a typical day at Over The Rainbow!
